Refund and Returns Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Returns Policy applies to products purchased directly from Seelaunch LLC via HomeDinnerIdeas.com. For products purchased through affiliate links, please refer to the return and refund policies of the respective third-party merchant. We are not responsible for returns or refunds on affiliate purchases.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from us. If you are not entirely happy with a product you bought directly from our store, we’re here to help.

2. Eligibility for Returns (Physical Products)

To be eligible for a return of a physical product:

  • The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in its original packaging.
  • You must have the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Your return request must be initiated within 30 calendar days of your purchase date.

3. Non-Returnable Items (Physical & Digital)

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Gift cards.
  • Downloadable digital products (e.g., e-cookbooks, digital recipe cards) – all sales are final for digital goods.
  • Perishable goods (e.g., fresh ingredients, baked goods).
  • Personalized or custom-made items.
  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable.”

4. How to Initiate a Return (Physical Products)

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Send an email to contact@homedinnerideas.com within 30 days of your purchase, stating your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  2. Receive Return Authorization: We will review your request and, if approved, provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on where to send your return. Do not send items back without an RMA number.
  3. Package Your Item: Securely pack the item(s) in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and documentation. Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package.
  4. Ship Your Return: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective or incorrect item). We recommend using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

5. Refunds (Physical Products)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 7-10 business days.
  • If your return is rejected (e.g., item not in original condition, outside return window), we will notify you and may offer to ship the item back to you at your expense.

Late or Missing Refunds:

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@homedinnerideas.com.

6. Exchanges (Physical Products)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged when you receive them. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contact@homedinnerideas.com with details and we will provide instructions.

7. Damaged or Defective Items (Physical Products)

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) at contact@homedinnerideas.com with your order number and photos of the damage/defect. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include sending a replacement or issuing a full refund. We will cover the return shipping costs for damaged or defective items.

8. Digital Products Refund Policy

All sales of digital products (e.g., downloadable recipes, e-cookbooks, printable guides) are final and non-refundable. Due to the nature of digital goods, once they are downloaded or accessed, they cannot be returned. Please ensure you have read the product description carefully before purchasing a digital product. If you experience any technical issues with a digital download, please contact us for assistance.
